Our Story
The desire to support small businesses in their growth journey inspired us to get started in 2021, when we recognized an opportunity to give merchants across the United States greater freedom—driven by advancements in financial technology and evolving payment regulations. That’s when the Paymate vision was born.
By 2021, Paymate introduced its platform to the market, pioneering instant payouts directly to merchants’ accounts. Before then, business owners often had to wait days or even weeks to access their earnings.
Our solution made it simpler for SMEs to accept card payments, cutting out excessive fees and the lengthy processes imposed by traditional financial institutions. The approach quickly resonated, allowing us to serve businesses in all 50 states and beyond.
